WELCOME to SheTravels.net – The Travel Portal for her.

This is the first entry for the blog, so I thought I’ll start off with a quick introduction so visitors could know what to expect. It’s been a long way, a long way for this site to come live and I hope that visitors would find this site helpful in planning your next trip.

I’m Lis the webmaster of SheTravels.net - part of SheSpends.com and along with me there's also Ez our blogger be telling readers all about some of the most exciting places in the world, just to name a few these would include the best shopping spots, best spa resorts and of course the best restaurants serving the lowest carbs around the world.

About LiS & Ez (Can you spot who's who in the picture?)
Top: Left - LiS Right - Ez

We met in year 9 (yes it's been a while now!!), both girls bugged with the travel bug, Ez spent some time living in Vanuatu and traveled for a couple of months after Year 12.  For myself I've always wanted to travel and to cut the cost I started working in Travel since 16 but thankfully with all the perks and discounts I've  visited most places of the world in several separate trips, which includes Asia, Europe, North America, Middle East and the South Pacific - The best is still my sailing trips in Fiji!

My most recent trip was flying over to Hong Kong and Singapore for a week in April to chill before I started my new job. Stayed with my Friend Erica in Hong Kong and did some CRAZY shopping...(Erica considers me as a shop-a-holic)

During my visit I managed to take a quick trip to Macau for a day with Erica and her friend Rachel (it was my first trip there!) We spent most of our time EATING - Portuguese tarts, sandwich ice-cream and pork jerks!

Tourist Video of Macau

Macau is quiet different compared to the rest of Asia, the buildings and layout resembles the streets of Europe but the entertainment and casinos also make it like a little Asian Las Vegas, Shopping isn't the best but if you're looking at visiting Hong Kong for some bargain shopping it's definitely worth the hour long ferry ride over to Macau for a day!

O.K. I better leave it here, but look out for  Ez's detailed post on Northern Italy coming soon and at the meantime if you have any great ideas you wish to suggest to us please feel free to drop us a line at
webmaster@shetravels.net

Cheers!

LiS
